Dr. Tracie Traver fell in love with Maryville in 1996, while visiting the Smoky Mountains region to interview for a position at St. Mary's in 1996. She later took a job with Ft. Sanders OB/GYN, but planned to eventually open a practice in Maryville. Several years later, Dr. Traver and Dr. LeBrun decided to form All Women's Care, PLLC.
Both doctors chose the name of the practice, which opened in February, 1999. It captured the character of what they offered: Health care for women, by women. It was also a good choice because they wanted a name that would be listed first in the phone book—remember those?
Over the following years All Women's Care, PLLC occupied several different offices before settling in our current location at 250 Cherokee Professional Park in Maryville. In 2006, Dr. Nancy Garza joined the group. She is originally from this area and was eager to join a practice close to her hometown.
About a year later, two major changes came about. Dr. Traver attended an Entre Leadership seminar led by Dave Ramsey, and as a result brought back a fresh vision for the management of the practice. In addition, Dr. LeBrun had decided to discontinue doing obstetric care and pursue other professional endeavors on her own. With this change, Dr. Garza became a partner.
In the nearly 20 years All Women’s Care, PLLC has been in practice, the staff has seen thousands of patients and helped bring hundreds of babies into the world. Today, Dr. Garza and Dr. Traver are joined by Dr. Tasheena Fair and Nurse Practitioner Kelly Alsup. These four expert providers continue to serve our patients with an exceptional level of care (including robotic surgeries, in-office procedures and aesthetic/med spa services), given in an environment of warmth and genuine concern for their well-being.
